Ingredients
- 2 tbsp whole papaya seeds
- 1 to 2 garlic cloves, lightly crushed
- Juice of 1 lemon
- 1/8 tsp clove powder
- 1 small thumb-size piece of fresh ginger
- 1 tsp freshly ground flaxseed
- 2 to 4 fresh mint leaves
- 4 oz coconut water or filtered water
Instructions
- Peel and lightly crush the garlic.
- Peel and roughly chop the ginger.
- Add papaya seeds, garlic, lemon juice, ginger, clove powder, mint, and water to a blender.
- Blend lightly. The papaya seeds should remain slightly chunky.
- Stir in the ground flaxseed until the mixture thickens slightly.
- Pour into silicone ice cube trays.
- Freeze until solid.
How To Use
Add 1 cube to warm water. Do not use boiling water. Stir and allow it to melt for a few minutes before drinking.
This recipe is traditionally used on an empty stomach. Stay well hydrated while using it.
